This gentle, fun, head to toe yoga workout will help you stay in shape and feel your best while using the support of a chair for seated and standing yoga postures that can easily be modified for anyone with limited mobility. Learn to combine movement with the breath while reducing stress and increasing circulation. Develop a better range of motion and improve your posture, strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and relaxed!

While gentle enough for the less flexible and challenging enough for the more advanced student, this class will help you release those kinks and snags that can accumulate in the body and mind from the mad rush of life. Nurture yourself by slowly stretching out tight muscles and loosen stiff joints. Improve flexibility and strength gradually and without intensity. This practice includes reclining, seated, and standing postures that combine physical activity and inner stillness. You’ll learn to combine movement with the breath, work on balance, reduce stress, and develop a better sense of awareness and peace within. You can use a mat, blanket, blocks, props, and anything you might need to support yourself throughout the practice, but a mat and a little space are all that’s required.
